PERFORMANCE TEAMS
Our exclusive VARSITY dancer development program is for children and teenagers who love to perform and want to step up their dance training, work with industry professionals, learn cutting edge choreography and have the opportunity to perform and compete regularly throughout the year.
Below are the Varsity packages for each age group. Ages are based on 1st January 2024. We have designed each package to provide what we believe is a balanced and complete dance training program appropriate for each age group. Plus, for those who just can’t get enough, Varsity members have unlimited access to the full timetable of recreational classes as well (including Acrobatics, Singing etc.) for no additional cost.

In 2024 Chapmans is moving to an "all-inclusive" pricing model for our Varsity programs, simplifying the billing by including ALL of the Varsity costume hire, for eisteddfod routines and Varsity concert routines. This will make it easier for families to budget throughout the year, with no unexpected extra expenses.

5/U VARSITY
Thursdays

These are the three prescribed classes for 5/u Varsity. At this young age, and with many of these kids starting school for the first time, we don't want to over-schedule them. In these sessions the students will learn routines for performances, rehearse their dances and train technique and skills.

For those who are interested in adding more classes to their child's schedule, the 5/u Varsity membership includes unlimited recreational classes, so they could do any of our Pre-Junior classes including Acrobatics and Singing.

--- The 5/u Varsity program is open to all 5 olds to try, however it is best suited to children who really love their dancing, show great promise and demonstrate mature levels of focus, attention and behaviour in class. We recommend trying for the first month, and then we can evaluate if this is the program best suited to your child.

For those who are interested in adding more classes to their child's schedule, the 6/u Varsity membership includes unlimited recreational classes, so they could do any of our Pre-Junior classes including Acrobatics and Singing.

For those who are interested in adding more classes to their child's schedule, the 8/u Varsity membership includes unlimited recreational classes, so they could do any of our Junior classes including Acrobatics, Acting and Singing.

Guest Teacher classes provide exciting opportunities to work with industry choreographers, be inspired and grow as versatile, capable dancers.
For those who are interested in adding more classes to their child's schedule, the 10/u Varsity membership includes unlimited recreational classes, so they could do any of our Junior or Intermediate classes (depending on age) including Acrobatics, Drama and Singing.

In the Varsity sessions the students will learn choreography for performances, rehearse their routines and work on training their dance technique and developing their skills. Guest Teacher classes provide exciting opportunities to work with industry choreographers, be inspired and grow as versatile, capable dancers.
For those who are interested in adding more classes to their schedule, the 12/u Varsity membership includes unlimited recreational classes, so they could choose to do any of our Intermediate classes including Acrobatics, Drama and Singing.

In these sessions the students will learn choreography for performances, rehearse their routines and work on training their dance technique and developing their skills. Guest Teacher classes provide exciting opportunities to work with industry choreographers, be inspired and grow as versatile, capable dancers.
For those who are interested in adding more classes to their schedule, the Senior Varsity membership includes unlimited classes, so students could take any of our Senior classes including Tuesday recreational classes, or Friday Acrobatics, Drama & Singing.
