Welcome to Chapmans Dance Academy.
Located in Smeaton Grange NSW, Chapmans was founded by Ashleigh Chapman in 2021 with a mission to provide world-class dance and performing arts training, under the nurturing guidance of our brilliant faculty of experienced, qualified and talented teachers.
Here at Chapmans, students of all ages learn to sing, dance, act and perform. First and foremost, our priority is to create a happy place where creativity, individuality, and self-expression is encouraged. We focus on fun, fulfilment and confidence building. Our aim is to create a positive and happy experience for all of our students. To nurture and develop talent, celebrate the achievements of all students, and inspire a love and appreciation of all styles of dance and the arts. Chapmans Dance Academy is a place like no other. Whether your child comes once a week, or does multiple classes as part of our elite Varsity program, we welcome you to the Chapmans family and we strive to make your child's dancing experience memorable and magical.
TAKE A TOUR
Located just 10 minutes from Campbelltown and 10 minutes from Camden, our vibrant studio premises in Smeaton Grange is 800sqm of dancer heaven. We have 2 extra large, 1 large and 2 mid-sized dance rooms.
We have a huge comfortable foyer for parents with leather lounges, air conditioning, and 6 large flat screen TVs with video live streamed from each of the dance rooms, so that parents can observe their child's class from the comfort of our foyer. Our cafe has refreshments including tea & coffee.
Our reception is open from from 4pm to 7:30pm every weeknight and from 8:30am to 11:30am on Saturdays. Our friendly staff are happy to help with new enquiries and welcome students to our studio. We have EFTPOS available.
We have our very own dancewear shop, with our unique Chapmans dancewear and uniform. Our shop also has Jazz, Tap and Ballet shoes in addition to a wide range of accessories and funky merchandise.
The entire premises is air conditioned. All the dance rooms are sound-proofed and decked with great sound systems, mirrors and sprung timber floors. We also hire out our studios for rehearsal space. Contact us for more info.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. What's the youngest they can start from?
We have awesome classes for boys and girls as young as 1 years old all the way up to teen, pre-professional and adult classes. All our age groups are based on the age of the student as at the 1st January 2024.
2. How do I enrol for 2024?
Enrolments are now open for next year's season and spaces are filling up fast. Simply click ENROL in the menu, and follow the prompts. It only takes a few moments to enrol online and secure your child's spot in their classes for 2024. You can call us on 0492 128 244 if you have any questions.
3. How much does it cost?
Classes start from just $14 per week and range up to $17. For our full price list, visit our INFO page. Payment can be easily made fortnightly, monthly, or per term. Cancellation can be made any time with 2-weeks notice.
4. When are the classes?
We have over 150 classes per week in our extensive timetable. You can find our recreational schedule for each age group HERE. We like to schedule our classes in convenient age-group blocks so that our students can take multiple classes in a row and get the most out of their dancing experience.
